The Exploit of Progress: How Humanity Might Fail the Race

I’m humbled.

I once thought progress was inevitable.

New gadgets.

Faster internet.

Smarter tools.

It is inconceivable that nobody would care about that.

But recently, something changes within me.

Silent unease.

It was my experience of Stripe bio identification issues.

I could not get into my account.

Remember the Canadian truckers?

How they lost access to their bank account?

It doesn’t come close to liberation, does it?

What we continue calling “progress,” is like a leash.
Polished.

Packaged.

Sold as freedom.

Designed Result vs. Pure Chance

We’re instructed the world is messy.

It’s normal.

But suppose it isn’t?

Is the confusion itself the agenda?

David Icke suggests the “chaos” is a distraction.

Carefully crafted.

Intended to place us in low-key panic.

Like ants following a trail of breadcrumb.

Every “random” crisis, economic, technological, or political is just another crumb on the journey toward one end.

It is a world where man and machine coexist.

Where controlled thought replaces free thought.

Money: A System of Enslavement

Let’s rewind.

Cash came before AI.

And money, particularly the manner of its creation, has ever been a silent chain.

Fractional reserve banking is the practice of generating credit from nothing.

Taxpayers pay the interest.

You and I.

We repay it with life energy, labor, and sweat.

That’s what makes it an actual exchange value for what never existed at all.

And now it seems that digital currencies are the “future.”

But digital doesn’t equal freer.

It suggests traceable, controllable, programmable.

Consider money that only operates if you “behave.”

That isn’t currency.

It’s compliance.

I perceive it differently since I was raised thinking hard work was security.

But like you all, I saw that promise dissipate.

Savings drained.

Costs rising.

A system stacked.

That wound remains with me.

And it informs how I see these new “solutions.”

AI and the Death of Free Will

Here’s where it gets spooky.

We’re told AI will make life easier.

Automate the mundane.

Cure diseases.

Personalize everything.

But below the marketing sparkle is something darker.

Envision your ideas not being your own.

It is no longer paper.

Your emotions not felt but controlled.

Instead of complementing human potential, AI is the filter.

The cage.

Icke gets real.

They prefer “computer terminals on other people’s internet.”

That line has stuck.

Isn’t that already taking place, quietly?

We don’t scan. We Bing.

We don’t recall, we rely on apps.

We don’t even decide voluntarily.

We scroll until the algorithm tells us what to want.

Why then do these steps resemble erasure so closely?

Deception of Competition

Every headline screams.

U.S. versus China.

OpenAI vs. Grok.

Technology leaders in a race.

But what if it’s theatre?

Icke asserts the “AI race” is a show.

That it doesn’t matter who “wins” because the same agenda moves forward anyway.

The competition is the distraction.

Like two wrestlers ringside sparring and receiving the same paycheck at the back.

And when we watch, we are being drawn toward dependency.

More apps, more upgrades, more integration.

Until unplugging doesn’t even feel like an option.

The Mind as the Final Battlefield

Don’t picture flames or an asteroid.

Picture something quieter.

A war for your brain.

“The end times” aren’t about the world ending.

They’re about a paradigm ending.

And the new one will take our free will or give back our sovereignty and our life.

This is if we wake up. Or don’t.

I’ve come to believe that spirituality is seeing beyond illusions.

Like when a forest makes sense of things in your head, or a river reminds you how to flow.

Nature never lies.

But control-based systems do.

That is the ground on which I stand.

The narrative woven remains unfinished.

Why This Matters

Midlife has a way of honing the optics.

You’ve lived enough to see patterns repeat.

You’ve felt the pang of rule playing never designed for you.

Is Icke’s warning extreme?

Remove the conspiracy frame and what are you left with.

Don’t live on autopilot and give up your autonomy.

More significantly, don’t mistake the racket with truth.

You already know what it is like to feel pressured.

Either by family, by system, or by culture.

You’ve felt the cage.

This isn’t about resisting AI.

It’s about not letting anything take your voice, your clarity, your choice. And maybe this is to recall: Awareness is the silent revolution they can’t code out of you.

Five Practices of Reclaiming Your Humanity

  1. Awareness and the Early Defense
Journal the signs that you see. Identify repeated stories, fear, crisis, distraction. Patterns reveal the agenda.
  2. Return Psychological
Each day, question: Is this belief me, or was it handed down to me? That one question re-centers your power.
  3. Balance Preparation with Presence
Stock what you have to, yes. But don’t forget: resilience is calm rather than stocked shelves. Breathe. Walk. Be here.
  4. Find Your People and Nourish Trust
Make circles of trust. Online, within your neighborhood, within friendships.
  5. Let Fear Move You Not Paralyze You
Stop when fear’s is strong. Clarity takes one tiny step forward. Make conscious choices.

Closing Thoughts

I sit here humbled.

Moderated by years of seeing systems market lies as solutions.

Progress only matters if it heightens our humanity and not reduce it.

At this moment in time?

That is our choice.

To be ruled by robots, or to find our inner compass that no program can manipulate.

Illusion of progress forever sparkles.

Truth though is quieter, closer and flourishes within you.
