What if the soul cycle you trust was never yours to begin with?

Lost Between Lives
I once saw karma as a soul’s GPS system.
It directed us back to what needed learning, our cosmic curriculum.
But late one night a whisper wormed its way into my brain.
It was a thought so big, so completely contrary to everything I thought I knew:
What if karma is not a teacher but a prison?
Suddenly, many jigsaw pieces fell into place.
You know those times when you get a strong sense of having been “here before?” Not that darling déjà vu.
I mean the deep, hurts-behind-the-ribs kind of knowing that your life is a repeat pattern.
A pattern you never created and may not have the power to change.
That whisper grew louder when I read the work of Michael Tellinger and the shadow history of the Anunnaki.
A group of “ancient astronauts” that allegedly created humans to serve as workers.
Genetic experiments.
A gold-mining species built by “gods” with an agenda. But what if the experiment isn’t finished?
Recycling Souls: The Reincarnation Matrix

Zecharia Sitchin (1920-2010) was an author of books proposing an explanation for human origins.
He suggested that the Anunnaki, deities who Sitchin claims arrived from the Pleiades constellation, came to Earth some 450,000 years ago.
After some time on Earth, they genetically engineered modern humans using an altered ape.
Michael Tellinger, a scientist and researcher elaborates Sitchin’s Anunnaki/Earthling relationship on the possibility that the Anunnaki even control the recycling of our souls.
We normally think of reincarnation in spiritual or religious terms but there is a darker side to this process that Tellinger reveals.
We are not reincarnated by choice into new bodies. We are given new bodies.
He likens this process to a ‘recycling matrix for souls.’
It is driven by guilt, programmed by karma and sealed by amnesia.
It is a heavy idea. Sounds a bit crazy even.
But this is what really resonated with me:
• Most religious or spiritual belief systems tell us that karma is the energy that we accumulate in order to improve our soul.
• However, in this world, we forget everything before we are recycled into the next life.
• If we forget, how can we possibly learn anything? If we forget a lesson, how can we learn from it?
And if we can’t learn from it, how can we improve it the next time around?
And perhaps that’s the point.
Perhaps we were never designed to complete the cycle and graduate from this soul school.
Not because we didn’t pass the course, but because there is someone with a vested interest in keeping us in this loop.
Is Free Will an Illusion?
If there is free will, why does it feel like we are born with the factory settings already installed?
You did what the manual said: be a good daughter, get the job, raise the kid, don’t rock the boat too much.
But the restlessness within?
The calling from deep down that doesn’t get quieter as you age?
Yeah, that could be the soul banging on the walls of a reinforced pattern. And not just the midlife itch to switch lanes.
Because once you start asking bigger questions — who programmed our belief systems, our bodies, and even our experience of time — it all gets both stranger and clearer.
I don’t believe the Anunnaki were a metaphor for evil.
But their tale, told on Sumerian tablets, retold in Egyptian lore, and partially recalled in the Book of Genesis, contains a crucial piece:
We have been controlled before. Biologically. Mentally.
And now…soulfully, perhaps.
From Karma to Conscious Choice

Here’s the crazy part.
What if the “trap” loses its power the second we know it?
That’s why I no longer think of karma as a sacred law but a system I’m now investigating.
Closely. Lovingly. Not everything spiritual is divine.
And not every cycle is sacred.
Does that mean nothing matters and we’re drifting in cosmic absurdity?
Not at all.
It means maybe the real work now is to cultivate soul-level awareness within the trap.
To wake up not just spiritually, but cosmically, remembering that your essence is older than this blueprint of control.
That deep within you, the Source energy is unprogrammed, free, and quietly observing.
Maybe we reincarnate by default. Until we don’t.

Author’s Bio
I write about the unseen forces shaping our lives — where politics, culture, and spirituality converge. My perspective bridges two worlds: with a degree in Social Theory, Structure, and Change (focused on Global Studies), and as a former City Council liaison for the Intergovernmental Relations Committee, I’ve seen how power works behind closed doors.
After a Near Death Experience and founding Positive Pulse Life, my work turned inward — toward reclaiming clarity, balance, and agency in the chaos of modern life. I write especially for women in midlife (40s–55), offering insights for navigating this transformative season with wisdom and presence
